Woodworking supply store

Amazing experience from start to finish! I usually try to throw in a little constructive criticism into these reviews but, I don't have any. I was building my first chess board and didn't really know where to start. Oliver suggested some walnut and maple and addressed all other questions, comments, and concerns I had. Very polite, professional , and knowledgeable. This isn't your typical store buying experience... it's so much more! I won't go anywhere else for my next project.

We are so fortunate to have a Luthier supply store like this in SW BC. Fantastic wood products as well as everything else a luthier would want.

My Fiancé and I went to the Lee Valley store on Thursday, January 19th looking for kitchen hardware.Upon entering the location within seconds we were greeted by John, an upbeat attitude, a helpful hand and a smile on his face, he helped us with navigating the store and making a list to print off of all the material we would need.Renovations can be costly, but compared to other places we have gone, the kitchen hardware was almost one half the price!It was our first visit to the store and we will definitely be going back, thanks again to John for helping us create our dream kitchen.

The people working there are really helpful. Great services. Their system to buy items is a bit much. Great place to find useful tools of all kind and gift.

A friend told me to come here to get some wood for a project I was working on. I went in and asked for some hardwood shorts, likely maple. They asked what my plans were and told us not to buy maple as it doesn't stain well, and showed us some good alternatives, no upselling or anything like that as they were the same price, they just made sure we had the best thing for what we were doing and were happy to talk it through and give us all the info we needed. We will absolutely be back as they gave us great service, didn't rush us at all, and they have a huge selection of wood!

My past experience at the Langley store hasn’t been great. I agree with the other reviewers that the Langley location has cashier staff that seem to be bored/ unhappy to be there. They aren’t very friendly and just want to take your money and have you leave the store ASAP.I stopped going to the Langley store for a long time because of this…UPDATE: June 2023Cashier customer service is still an issue as mentioned in my previous review. Unfriendly and surly cashier again today. I stood there for a good 4mins while the cashier did some paper work (no one else was in line), didn’t even acknowledge I was standing there, not even a “I’ll be right with you”. 1 star removed for poor cashier customer service …. still. Going to take my business someplace else.

Very kind and helpful staff. Amazing selection of wood from all over the globe. A little expensive but that's the price you gotta pay for quality. I love going to this place!

Terrible customer service. Purchased wood from them, was about to stain sent them a few questions on facebook about the wood (which can see they have viewed lol) just ignore you, once they got your money they could care less about customer service. Will never deal with this company or recommend them to anyone, and the other 1 star reviews on here sound about right on how this company is/operates...!

Le concept de donner une deuxième vie au bois est tout-à-fait génial autant côté environnementale que du côté du look que ça peut donner à une pièce ! Le recyclage c’est tellement important, on a juste une planète il faut en prendre soin ❤️ Chacun doit y mettre du sien et votre entreprise l’a compris. Bravo Reciq-Antique pour ce travail honorable !
